Step 1 of 2
Before we place you — a quick consent.
Pre-account
Read the full data-use rules
Boldstride supports both households and schools. To keep that promise simple, we ask for a short, plain-language consent before continuing — two short paragraphs and one checkbox.
What we collect. The reading material the learner works through, the line they tap, the timestamp of a session, and — only when their tutor or adult asks for it — their name and email so we can show you a clear progress view. Nothing else.
What we don’t do. We do not sell learner data. We do not run behavioural advertising against a learner account. We do not share a learner’s words with anyone other than the adults you invite.
Schools. School-side admins see the same data the household sees for learners on their roster. A purchase made under an IEP follows the same rules as a household plan — there is no separate “school shadow” of the data.
Your controls. You can ask for a copy, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete the learner’s account at any time. Deleting removes the learner record; backup copies roll off within thirty days.
How long we keep it. While the account is active. After deletion, retained only as required by law.
